Patience Mutua is a Water and Sanitation Engineer from Kenya. She is passionate about the provision of clean and safe water sanitation for all by solving the global water issues one challenge at a time. She graduated from the University of Nairobi in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. During here study she earned the Dr. Eddah Gachuki award for her exemplary academic performance and leadership skills.
What is your personal gamechanger to the water sector and sustainable development?
My personal gamechanger is a solution that addresses sustainable water resource management and the provision of water services in an efficient and sustainable manner.
Why did you join the UN2023 GCC as Youth Jury?
I joined the Youth Jury because I saw an opportunity to contribute to solving the water challenges in the world and also to network with other brilliant minds from across the globe.
